Networking Drinks
30 November 2017, our informal drinks was held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Collins Street.
About 60 guests attended this event, with a relaxed and enjoyable environment providing a wonderful opportunity for the attendees to mingle and socialise. Romeo from ‘Romeo Wine’ also introduced his business, which provides wine education for corporate events and team building.
26 October 2017, networking drinks were held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Collins Street. Members and friends of FALS had a chance to catch up over wine and nibbles. Also present were representatives of JET Sport, a social app which allows users to organise and participate in local sporting activities together, as a means of socialising and keeping active.
Bastille Dinner
The French Australian Lawyers Society celebrated Bastille Day on 13 July 2017 over dinner at the French Brasserie, 2 Malthouse Ln, Melbourne. Guests were spoilt with a celebratory and exquisite menu of food and wine. A quiz about France and its history was conducted and prizes were awarded.
We thank the Melbourne French Theatre Company for the tickets to the show ‘Every Trick In The Book’ and Transmission Films for the tickets to ‘Paris Can Wait’ awarded to the winners.
